Today I am going to share with you some highlights of women’s right in the world, and in our society. Moreover, I also share some highlights of Islamic teachings on women’s rights.
Firstly my friends we need to understand the meanings of right. In simple words I believe right is the synonym of “Boundary”, within the boundary we need to exercise our rights and freedom otherwise crossing those limits and boundaries becomes a punishable act.
Timeline of the Human Rights
In the Western world, the riots of Human rights began in 1215A.D England with the name of great charter in human history “Magna carta”.
Later on, the revolution of France in the name of the Renaissance to ensure human rights.
On December 10, 1948, A.D. the United Nations General Assembly passed a bill named international human rights.
My dear friends, the world may not accept this reality from Allah, but human rights have been defined and limited the boundaries of every human being since the very first verse upon the Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) and the man of excellence is his great and complete image.
Moreover, the chapter on human rights was completed by Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) in the sermon of “Hujtta ul widda”.
Islam about women’s rights
There is no doubt that Islam defines women’s rights in every scope of life, whether you are a daughter, mother, social and economic rights.
Let’s uncover some of the teachings of Islam about human rights
In one Hadith Hazrat Muhammad(S.A.W) said that getting knowledge is compulsory for both men and women. Moreover, if we dive deeper into Islamic studies we see that most sahaba concert to Hazrat Ayesha(R.A) for the problems and solutions of Islamic teachings.
I just remind you about the Personality of Hazrat Khadijah(R.A), the first beloved wife of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) was the business tycoon of that era.
In short deeper you dive into Islamic studies, I guarantee, you never doubt women’s rights and never run on the illusion of the world portrait. From the birth of a girl baby to death Islam subjected all boundaries to men and women. A more interesting note here in the Quran before doing hijab, Islam lays stress on men that you must down your gaze to protect and remain under the boundary of Hayyah.
This is a very few words I shared with you about the women in Islam.
Women’s status in the world
I completely agree with that social injustice, gender inequality, and education, as you said, and seeing in the world is correct. I respect you whatever your opinion. We noticed that this slogan and campaign are outdated because of the monopoly of some institutions and the corporate sector.
But here I discuss with you the solution, not a problem. I believe right is something you do not receive until you are willing to give it to the corresponding. In the capitalist world, we only believe in the financial independence of women. In the race, if we do not have complete guidelines then we see the problem in the world women trafficking, the lust for sex, and disrespect of women. I just mean that we are not only seeing a woman’s life with one lens.
Women have a right in the world that they deserve to be a completely respected identity, freedom of speech, equal opportunities, a right to choose a person for marriage, means every taste of life.
In my opinion, we need to educate girls mostly in developed countries. Because lack of education and opportunities in developed countries mostly women’s rights are subdued.
Conclusion
Women in every society play a beneficial role in society and they are the caretakers of the next generation in every society. And I believe if we are honest to raise the alma of women’s rights we must honestly educate both men and women. Because both men and women are a complete human body legs without one leg you can not move forward comfortably.
I think in the mask of women’s rights if we strike on roads and streets and encourage the slogans that cross or untie the boundaries, then it just creates insecurity of rights, a sense of conformity, and imbalance in the world.
